Exercise Your Back to Avoid Back Pain
Back pain is something that nearly everyone experiences at some point in their life. There are many causes of back pain. For some people, back pain is chronic and something they have to live with every day.
For most people, back pain is just one of life’s little problems to get through. Though it can be debilitating and often occurs at precisely the wrong time in one’s life, it’s a temporary affliction. It’s often treated effectively with heat and over-the-counter pain relievers.
Exercise Helps Avoid Back Pain
People who never seem to experience back pain may seem like they’re made differently than you or have some secret. They may work next to you in the office, sit in the same type of chair as you, and work the same hours. But they never seem to have an aching back at the end of the day. There really is no secret to their lack of back pain. They probably simply exercise more than you.
There are muscles at the side of the spine that are responsible for most minor back pain. Starting a regular program of exercising these muscles is easy, fast and almost guarantees you of no more back pain.
Simply lie flat on your back on a flat surface and cross your arms over your chest. Keep your feet flat on the floor with your knees bent. Then simply raise your hips off the floor and count slowly to ten. Repeat this motion ten times. You’ll feel the exercise in your thighs, but you’ll also feel it in the muscles along your spine, which is the point of the exercise.
Get in the habit of doing this every day, and you’ll soon never have to experience minor back pain again.
